For Electric Forest 2019, I aided the Madison House Presents team by serving as a data manager and analyst for their production department. In the months leading up to the festival, I spent a good deal of time dealing with asset requests from more than 200 vendors ensuring that all necessary assets and equipment required for operations were accounted for and available on site. On site, I worked closely with more than 30 department leads primarily in our site operations department to monitor the progress of the build through on-site check ins to ensure that we were adhering to our build schedule, resources were placed and allocated properly, and if any problems arose during the build, I worked with our site operations team to ensure that we could rectify any potential issues before they caused any further delays. Additionally, when available, I would jump in with the various departments and lend a helping hand to provide additional support in completing projects around site.
Additionally, I created overlays on our event site maps to provide a broad overview of build progress on site. During spot checks, I would create maps that allowed other members of our production and site ops teams to quickly see where certain things like restrooms, fence, tents, etc. had been placed or needed to be placed. This helped to increase overall efficiency as once they were created, we were able to quickly view which areas needed more attention than others as well as what areas did not need any additional attention once assets were placed. These map overlays were easy to update quickly which ensured speed and accuracy in monitoring our build.
