I decided in late 2017 that I was in need of a personal logo to represent my creative works. I struggled to come up with something that I felt was suitable and had a meaningful design behind it, but of course for my first step, I took to sketching. After coming up with a bunch of sketches, I found a particular style and direction that I wanted to head with it.
From there, I transitioned into illustrator and worked to put together a vector graphic using the initial sketches and created a few variations based on my original design. Ultimately, I ended up with the logo I am currently using. While it is a simple design composed of my initials, I liked the sharp lines, and used the arrows to cap the ends of my lines with the idea that the arrow coming off the "H" and pointing backwards is representative of remembering your design history and past work while the arrow coming off the "N" points forward representative of always designing with new ideas and forward thinking.
I went through a few different friends in order to get critiques and feedback on the design and wound up with the logo I have now.
