Drum Beats
Drum beats was created using Ultrabeat in Logic Pro.  This was the first project I ever created using a DAW and a soft easy introduction into producing music and beats.
Rhythmic Noise
Rhythmic noise is a track created using Ultrabeat in Logic Pro. All beats and notes have been sourced from recordings or online samples, and then trimmed using audacity for length and content. The track uses sound samples from a shoe skid, clap, organ music, power station hum, diesel engine, cow mooing, car muffler, and pouring rain.
Call and Response
The call and response project I did used the synthesizer modules in logic to create two different synthesizers and then use the two of them to create a classic call and response audio track with variations in the response.
SOUND COMPOSITION
For my first full length sound composition for my sound design course, I composed, played, mixed, and mastered a track utilizing Logic Pro and a MIDI keyboard to create a full length song.  This was the first time I had to mix and balance several different channels, and also the first time I had to master a track.  It was a good experience and I felt good about the final product.
Nothing Gold Can Stay
This track was my fifth composition for my sound design course. It was inspired by Robert Frost's poem, Nothing Gold Can Stay. It follows the theme of the poem which touches upon the innocence of childhood and how eventually everyone grows up. The idea of the song is it's a sonic narrative telling the story of parents who find out they're going to have a child, giving birth, raising their little kid, sending him to school, and then watching as he leaves for college.  The music was composed and played by me and the sound effects were mostly sourced from creative commons no credit required sources online.
The Colonists
The colonists was my first sound design project that entailed creating music and sound effects for a video game.  I sourced a video clip from the indie game, The Colonists, and then imported it into logic pro and composed some music using Logic Pro and a MIDI keyboard and then sourced some sound effects from online creative commons sources with no credit required.
